The oval dish is hand-shaped and polished, with the natural banding of the horn visible.

The small square dish is made from the same material.

These are commonly produced in South Africa, Kenya, Uganda and neighbouring countries as handcrafted decorative or serving dishes.

Both in excellent condition.
