A characterful round wooden occasional table with elegant traditional proportions and a beautifully time-worn finish.
The small circular top features a raised moulded border surrounding the inset centre and is supported by a slender turned pedestal. The central column incorporates ring-turned and reeded detailing before extending into three gracefully splayed legs, creating an attractive tripod base.
Its warm brown finish has developed plenty of character through use. Rubbing, scratches, marks and variations in tone are visible across the top and around the moulded edge, giving the table an appealing, relaxed appearance rather than a highly polished or restored finish.
At just 33 cm in diameter and 60 cm high, the table has particularly useful proportions. The relatively tall pedestal combined with its small footprint makes it ideal beside an armchair or sofa as a drinks table, small lamp table or occasional table. It could equally be used as a stand for a vase, plant or favourite decorative object.
An attractive and practical little piece with traditional styling that can be easily incorporated into both classic and more eclectic interiors.
Condition:Used condition with visible age- and use-related wear. The top has areas of rubbing and finish loss, particularly towards the centre, together with scratches, marks and variations in colour. There is additional wear around the moulded rim and elsewhere on the wooden finish.
These imperfections are clearly visible in the photographs and contribute to the table's time-worn decorative character. Structurally sound and stable.
