A charming group of four vintage decorative ducks in beautifully understated shades of warm brown, sandy beige and cream.

The group comprises three larger birds and one smaller companion, each individually modelled with finely textured feather decoration. Variations in their plumage, form and scale give the four an appealing collected quality while their shared natural palette brings the group together beautifully.

Unlike carved wooden figures, these pieces are lightweight and appear to have been formed from a papier-mâché or similar composition material. The precise material has not been identified, so we have deliberately left the attribution open.

Their muted natural colouring and gently rustic finish make this an especially versatile decorative group for country, Provençal and relaxed contemporary interiors.
